‘Agneepath’ is roaring success..!!!
‘Agneepath’ is roaring success and riding high with its Box Office collection. Sanjay Dutt and Hrithik Roshan have pulled off stunners as Kancha Cheena and Vijay Dinanath Chauhan and have immortalised the characters once again on celluloid.
Fans of the superstars have been busy discussing the film and have been relentlessly praising their performances in the film. And Karan Johar must be on cloud nine for sure, as he has been able to recreate the same magic his father created back in 90s.
Apart from showering applause and praises, trade experts have also been busy keeping a tab on the film’s BO performance.
Bollywood trade expert Taran Adarsh has good news for all the diehard fans of ‘Agneepath’.
The film has kept the Box Office ringing over the weekend with a collection of Rs 67.5 crore.
Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “#Agneepath weekend total stands at Rs 67.5 cr nett. Breakup:- Thu 23 cr, Fri 12.75 cr, Sat 14.5 cr, Sun [estimates] 17.25 cr(sic).
“#Agneepath set a new record for opening day on Thu, but dipped on Fri, picked up on Sat and performed gloriously on Sun again(sic),” Adarsh wrote on the micro blogging site.
‘Agneepath’ is here to rule the BO. And if the film’s trade figures are anything to go by, the upcoming films of 2012 are bound to face the wrath of walking on ‘agnee’ path!

Sania reaches career-best 7th rank in doubles ranking
Sania Mirza`s semifinal finish in the women`s doubles event at the recently-concluded Australian Open has catapulted her to a career-best ranking of seventh position in the latest WTA Team Rankings, issued on Monday.
Sania jumped from 11th spot to be inside the top-10 in doubles rankings and if she manages to stay in the top 10 till June 21, 2012, she will get a direct entry into the London Olympics.
The Hyderabadi girl though slipped in the singles rankings to be placed at 111th spot from 106th position.
The top-64 players will get a direct entry into the singles draw of the Olympics and if Sania fails to get into that bracket, AITA will ask the organising committee for a wildcard entry.
Meanwhile Leander Paes, who won the Australian Open men`s doubles with Radek Stepanek of Czech Republic and finished runners-up in mixed doubles event with Elena Vesnina, has retained his seventh spot in the ATP doubles rankings.
Rohan Bopanna also managed to retain his 11th position in the doubles` list but his new doubles partner Mahesh Bhupathi lost eight positions to slip to 16th.

Poonam Pandey to get dirtier than Vidya Balan!
Sultry siren Poonam Pandey seems hell bent on making it big in B-Town. The Internet sensation, who recently revealed that she would soon be seen in a Bollywood film confessed that it’s only A-listers that she would ever like to work with, in the industry.
The girl is known for her cheeky statements and this time too she chose to be her real self. She said, “I promise to get dirtier than Vidya Balan in The Dirty Picture," she laughs.
Further adding, the hottie said, “I don`t think there is any bikini left in the world that I haven`t worn. I can even shop in a bikini and, of course, if the role demands it, I will wear one too. I want to do something no one in the industry has ever done before.”
On being asked about competition from international model-turned-actors such as Angela Johnson, Amy Jackson and Lisa Haydon, a confident Poonam said, “These are all firangi faces and they are clearly not my competition. I am not making these statements because I am overconfident, but because I know that no one can compete with me.”
Nokia Asha 300 now available on Flipkart
Finnish cell phone maker Nokia has announced the sale of its dual SIM phones Asha series in India.
Apart from its sale via Nokia priority dealers, Nokia Asha 300 will also be available for purchase from online Flipkart and is priced at Rs 6,835.
The mobile phone major, which had a profit of 742 million euros in 2010 December quarter, is battling stiff competition from the likes of Apple and HTC in the fast growing smartphone market.
