The mammoth project, thanks to the presence of Superstar Rajnikanth is getting bigger with each passing day. The latest addition to the cast of this multilingual venture is Bollywood’s own ‘Jaggu Dada’, Jackie Shroff.Confirming that Jackie had been roped in for the film, director Soundarya Ashwin, the younger daughter of Rajini, sent a message to the media, which read, “The star cast confirmed, so far, in Kochadaiyan are Sarath Kumar, Aadhi, Nasser, Shobhana and now Jackie Shroff.” Now that’s indeed good news for the film’s makers. Incidentally, this is not the first time Rajinikanth and Jackie are sharing screen. Both the actors had come together for 1987′s Uttar Dakshin.
We’ve also heard from a li’l birdie down south that AR Rahman is busy composing tunes for this film, and has already completed two songs. The film will go on the floors later this month. The grand sets are being erected at a popular studio in Chennai for Kochadaiyaan, under the supervision of K S Ravikumar, who has penned the screenplay for this film.
