Shruti Hassan is pretty kicked about playing a village belle in her upcoming venture, "Gabbar Singh". She is paired opposite Pawan Kalyan in this film directed by Harish Shankar. "I am playing a rustic village girl's character for the first time.
In a interview to a leading daily newspaper Shruthi said, "I have always played independent, modern characters in my films so far, and I am enjoying the challenge of getting into the character of a village girl."
