Ageenpath to cross Bodyguard Opening day Collections: First Day Record

Hrithik Roshan's most awaited movie of the year Agneepath released world wide in a grand manner over 3500 theatres. The movie is released in highest number of theatres not just in Hrithik Roshan's career but also amongst the biggest opener of all times.


As per the trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, "#Agneepath opening: Not just @iHrithik 's biggest opener, but also amongst the biggest opener of all times. Should have a record Day 1."


He then added, "At the rate it has *opened*, the only 'competitor' for #Agneepath is #Bodyguard. Neck to neck at most places, better at some."


As per the Taran Adarsh's estimation, Agneepath would collect Rs 20+ Crore nett on day one of release at India Box-Office.


Adding to this Trade analyst Komal Nahata tweeted, "The film's first day collection could easily be between 19-20 crores. True to its title, Agneepath has taken a fiery start. It is a superb Republic Day gift by Karan Johar to the public!"


Agneepath is an action thriller film produced by Karan Johar. It is a remake of a 1990 film of the same name and is directed by Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist. Priyanka Chopra, Rishi Kapoor and Zarina Wahab are other lead cast. Katrina Kaif is seen in an item number.
